Printerland Partners OKI to Spearhead Revolutionary New Sales Approach
23rd September 2008
Following OKI Printing Solutions’ recent launch of
the pioneering online toolkit, V-Business, leading value added reseller (VAR),
Printerland has become the first OKI partner to adopt and customise the toolkit
for use on its own website (www.printerland.co.uk).
V-Business enables
business users across 12 vertical markets from education and health to
horticulture and financial services to access relevant information needed to
make well-informed decisions about buying printing solutions.
“We are
really excited about V-Business and are currently promoting it to our customers.
It has already become a key part of our sales engagement process,” says
Printerland managing director, James Kight. “We are seeing particularly strong
benefits from the integrated product selector application, which allows us to
match the specific requirements of our customers with the printer which most
closely matches those needs.”
Ewa Johnson, marketing director, OKI
Printing Solutions, comments: “As OKI’s largest reseller, Printerland has been a
keen supporter of the scheme from the start and has actively contributed to the
development process. We are now seeing interest in V-Business from other
partners, looking to introduce more consultative sales techniques and showcase
printer options to prospective customers.”
Each of the site’s 12 areas
offers a full page of information relevant to each featured market, including
written and video customer case studies, a breadth of print applications,
together with cost-saving suggestions, promotions and PDF specifications. It
also provides the opportunity to order print samples directly from the image
library supplied, or to upload images of choice.
Printerland’s Kight
believes V-Business will attract a broad spectrum of users. As he explains,
“V-Business isn’t just for those looking to buy, it will also appeal to
companies that already own an OKI printer, showing them how to unlock its
potential and get more from their investment. Don’t just take our word for it,
visit V-Business on the Printerland website (printerland.co.uk) and see for
yourself.”
